Ingredients
  

For the Rice

  • 300 g For the Rice
  • 600 ml Cold Water
  • Salt Flakes for teste

For the Chicken and Vegetables

  • 3 bell Peppers (Capsicum)
  • 1 Brown Onion
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 1.5 kg Chicken Breast

Instructions
 

Prepare the Rice

  • Rinse 300g of basmati rice under cold water to remove excess starch.
  • Combine it with 600ml of cold water and a pinch of sea salt flakes in a large saucepan.
  • Stir gently to separate any clumps.

Cook the Rice

  • Bring the water to a boil, then cover with a lid and reduce heat to low. Let the rice simmer undisturbed for 14 minutes
  • After 14 minutes, turn off the heat, but keep the lid on for another 4 minutes
  • Fluff the rice with a fork to separate the grains

Step 5: Cooking the Vegetables and Chicken

  • Heat 30ml of grapeseed oil in a large pan over high heat.
  • Add the onions and bell peppers with a pinch of sea salt flakes. Sauté for about 4 minutes or until caramelized, then remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Cook the Chicken
  • Add another 20ml of grapeseed oil to the pan.
  • Once hot, add the diced chicken with another pinch of sea salt. Sear for about 6 minutes, stirring halfway to ensure even cooking.
